Firefighters called to Portsmouth school

FIREFIGHTERS were called to false alarm at a school.

An alarm was triggered at Springfield School in Central Road, Drayton, Portsmouth, at 1.20pm.

The single crew from Cosham fire station realised it was a false alarm after arriving.

A fire service spokesman said: ‘It was a false alarm, we got the call at 1.20pm. It was a glass contact point that was broken.’
