CREWS from three fire stations were called to a house in Ibsen Close, Whiteley, after a garage caught fire.

The fire broke out at around 8.10pm yesterday, engulfing both the garage and the car parked inside.

Firefighters from Botley, Hightown and Redbridge stations spent just over an hour putting the fire out.

No-one was injured.
