Firefighters free toddler from bicycle

A TODDLER was rescued after he got his finger stuck in the handlebars of a bike at a nursery.

A crew from Fareham fire station was called to The Mulberry Bush, in Locks Road, Locks Heath yesterday at 12.50pm.

Firefighters said the three-year-old’s finger was stuck in a hole in the handlebar on a small bike or scooter.

The crew had to use a ring-cutting tool to cut open the handlebar to free the youngster’s finger.
