Delays after lanes shut in M27 crash

Have your say

IT WAS a busy Saturday night for firefighters at Southsea station.

Two crews went to rescue two adults stuck in a lift at Craneswater Park, in Southsea, Portsmouth at 7.40pm on Saturday.

They isolated the power and removed the lift’s door system to gain access to the trapped pair.

Then at 7.49pm the small fire vehicle was called to a burning bin at Southsea Common, after a still-alight barbecue was put in it. At 10.58pm the small fire vehicle was called to another bin fire in Rochford Road, Paulsgrove, which they put out.
