Firefighters rescue man from mud
Firefighters from Fareham and Cosham helped rescue a man trapped in mud early today.
They were called to the drama in Totton along with a crew from the townn and one from Redbridge.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service the alerts was raised in Stirling Close at about 2am.
Witnesses said the man was trapped up to his thighs in mud.
A fire service spokesman said: ‘The gentleman was released using specialist rescue equipment and the stop call was received at 3.09am.’
