FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a car blaze in Fareham this afternoon.

A crew from Fareham fire station responded to the incident, in Old Turnpike, at 12.30pm.

On arrival, the crew was faced with a small fire which had damaged the vehicle.

They used two breathing apparatus as well a two high-pressure water hoses to quell the blaze.
