FIREFIGHTERS were called to a bin fire on Eastern Road, Portsmouth, at 6.27am today.
The recycling bin had melted when a crew from Southsea arrived.
They were on the scene until 7am. The incident is being treated as suspicious.
Another crew from Southsea was called to a small fire in the open at 10.20pm last night.
A pile of rubbish was found ablaze in Radnor Street, Somers Town, and firefighters worked for half an hour to make the scene safe.
