FIREFIGHTERS were called to two fires at farms in a West Sussex village.
Three engines from Chichester went to a field off Newells Lane, Bosham, at about 1.55pm on Monday.
Hoses and beaters were used to put out the burning stubble.
At 10.45pm on Monday two fire engines from Chichester went to tackle a blaze in a derelict brick barn at a farm off Delling Lane, Bosham.
It took firefighters more than an hour and a half to tackle the fire.
The cause of both blazes is not yet known.
