VISITORS to a technology park chose a local charity for young people to receive a £100 donation.

Motiv8, which works to improve the life chances of young people by reducing their risk of offending , anti-social behaviour and disengagement from learning and employment, received the cash from property and facilities management firm Fassett at Langstone Technology Park.

Through their ‘business excellence’ initiative, Fasset recently introduced a ‘visitor experience’ questionnaire to gain invaluable insight into how the location is perceived and whether any changes could improve this. As part of this, all visitors are encouraged to select a charity to receive the £100 donation.

The Fasset team delivered a cheque to their Leigh Park ‘Hub’ and the Motiv8 Team were delighted.

Sandie Davis of Motiv8 said: ‘Motiv8 provide an invaluable service to young people in the community and as a charity we rely wholly on donations, so thanks, Fasset.’
