THE unmistakeable flavours of France will be coming to Emsworth for a market.

From croissants to crepes, olives and cheese, traders from Normandy will selling a feast of fresh produce.

The market, supported by Havant Borough Council, takes place tomorrow at Palmers Road car park.

There will be 10 stalls packed with everything from delicious delicacies to authentic French soap, lavender, tablecloths, handbags, wallets and wooden toys.

It follows a market in April.

The market is part of the council’s initiative to get more people using local shops.

Economic development officer at the council Jeff Crate said: ‘We are pleased to welcome the delights of the French market back and would encourage as many people as possible to come along.

‘As well as the delicious continental produce available from the market, visitors will be able to take advantage of the wide range of shops on offer in the town centre at the same time.’
