Four-year-old rushed to hospital after Portsmouth bus crash

Firefifghters from Southse station were called out at 7.40pm last night, when a bus and a car crashed in Unicorn Road, Portsmouth.

The crew said the bus was coming out of the city and the car was coming in, when the two crashed at a junction.

The four-year-old boy, who was in the car, was assessed at the scene by paramedics for a head injury.

He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

But the ambulance service said it is not believed his situation is life-threatening.

Hampshire Constabulary are now investigating the incident.
