A FREE charity club night is aiming to raise money to benefit cancer research.

Local DJ Brian Green – who goes by the stage name Mr Gee – has organised the event which will take place in Fin’s Bar, Palmerston Road, Southsea, on Friday from 7pm.

The evening will be a live broadcast of his weekly radio show, Dance FM Live, and profits from behind the bar will be donated to Cancer Research UK, in memory of Mr Green’s sister Maureen Gibbings who died in 2009.

Featuring six local DJ sets – including Jonny G, Tony Jarman & Robbie G, and Mr Gee’s Essential Hardcore Selection – the night will go on until midnight.

More information about the event can be found on the Facebook page for Dancefmlive.com.
