Free lectures at Chichester Cathedral will look at controversial Bible characters

SOME of the most intriguing and controversial characters in Christianity will be discussed in a series of lectures.

Chichester Cathedral Chancellor, Canon Dr Anthony Cane, has spent eight years researching Judas Iscariot. Over four dates he will also look at Pontius Pilate and Mary Magdalene in free public lectures.

In each case he will be exploring what the Bible does, and does not, say about each of them; looking at some of the speculation that surround them and drawing out their contemporary significance.
