A TEACHER of Christian science healing will present a free talk at the Hilton Hotel in Eastern Road on May 15.

Jane Dickinson-Scott will present Properly ID’ed – Who am I and what is my purpose? from 7.30pm.

Her ideas are based on the teachings of Jesus in the Bible, and as discussed in the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

She first trained in baby and childcare before travelling to India as a volunteer for Save the Children.

Her life then took her into the public practice of Christian science healing.

A member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, she travels from her home in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, to share her ideas. She said: ‘This talk explores how an understanding of your spiritual identity as a loved child of God brings healing and defines purpose, place and potential.

‘I love to see how all of our relationships are enhanced when we understand our relationship with God.’
