IN IT’S 22nd year, the Portsmouth International Kite Festival looks to be bigger and better than ever.

The festival sees flyers from Singapore, India and New Zealand come to Southsea Common to fly their spectacular kites.

Bank holiday, on August 24 till August 26, will be brightened up kite demonstrations including snakes, lizards, frogs and much more.

There will also be showings with single line kites and 3D kites, all skilfully flown, to wow the family

As well as the kite show, on the Monday, there will be a dog show and refreshment stalls.
