A chef celebrated 20 years at the same restaurant by hosting two charity buffet nights.

Dulal Ahmed, who has worked at Sea of Spice, in West Street, Fareham, for the past two decades raised £1,190 for three charities.

The money raised from the two nights, will be donated to the Fareham Rotary Club, Caring Matters Now – which supports Congenital Melanocytic Naevi – and Beani Bazar Cancer Hospital.

The hospital is a cancer specialist facility in Bangladesh, which provides free cancer treatment to patients who are members.

After the success of the two nights, staff at the restaurant are already thinking ahead to other events they can potentially host.
