FRIENDS, family and colleagues have rallied around to help Mark Woods, from Cosham, who suffered from a heart attack three weeks ago.

Mr Woods, 48, is a engineer who works for BT and is still in Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham recovering.

More than 50 people took part in a fundraising football day at South Downs College in Waterlooville to help Mr Woods and his family.

There were teams from Football for Cancer, BT, telecommunications firm the Kelly Group and another led by one of Mr Woods’s four children, Jack Woods.

The charity day, combined with a JustGiving appeal set up by friend and colleague Tom Grice, has since raised more than £2,600 and can be found by searching for ‘supportmarkwoods’ on
the justgiving.com
