AN AWARD-winning magician promises to entertain an audience for one night only in aid of good causes.

Steve Price, who is one of the country’s most established comedy magicians, will perform tricks in aid of the Salvation Army in Lake Road, Landport, at 7.30pm on January 20.

The show is likely to involve audience participation – whether it is mind reading or placing a volunteer into a guillotine – and is suitable for all ages.

Major Cedric Hills, Salvation Army minister, said: ‘I saw Steve perform last year. He was so funny and a good illusionist.

‘We thought it would be great to have him visit for an evening’s entertainment. I’m looking forward to it.’

To buy tickets costing £5 that include pizza and a drink, and £10 for a three-course dinner, call 07930 641 812.

All profits from the night will go charity.
