PEOPLE in Fareham are being invited to take part in a triathlon at a leisure centre.

Fareham Borough Council and Fareham Leisure Centre will be hosting the event on Sunday, May 20.

It will consist of a 400m swim, a cycle of just under 12 miles (19.2km) and a run of just over three miles (5.1km).

Councillor Connie Hockley said: ‘This is open to all abilities and teams are also welcome to join in. Places are limited so register as soon as possible to avoid missing out on what will be a great day.’

All participants will receive a Fareham 2012 T-shirt and a medal. A shield will be awarded to the first male and female to complete the course.

For information or to book a place call Fareham Leisure Centre on 01329 233652. It costs £15.
