IT REGULARLY hosts civic events and music concerts, but as part of its 125th birthday celebrations Portsmouth’s Guildhall will be the venue for a day of sporting activities.

The Portsmouth Cultural Trust team is inviting families to take part.

Activities will include giant inflatable air hockey and football, a sailing simulator, mini tennis, gymnastics, circus, everything from tap to street dance, table tennis and much more.

The event will hold a morning and afternoon session on Friday, August 14, with the morning session starting at 10am, and the afternoon one at 1pm.

Each three-hour session costs £3, with children under three able to go free.

The programme has been organised by the cultural trust, Parkwood Leisure and the Mountbatten Centre.
