IT IS time to get your gardens at the ready for our annual Bloomin’ Marvellous competition.

We are calling on keen gardeners from Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant and Fareham to show us their glorious gardens and horticultural havens.

Whether your garden is big or small, full of flowers or shrubs, we want to see all your hard work.

Our gardening guru Brian Kidd will judge the entries from sent-in photographs and pick a winner after a visit to the top 10 finalists.

The winner will get a £100 voucher for Titchfield-based garden centre Garsons. The runner-up will get a £50 voucher, with a third prize of £25.

To enter the competition, take a good quality picture of your garden and send it to us.

Remember that our judge Brian Kidd is basing his decisions for the top 10 finalists solely on your photos, so make sure you capture your garden’s best features.

Either post your photos to: Bloomin’ Marvellous, c/o Ellie Pilmoor, The News, 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour, Western Road, Portsmouth, PO6 3EN or e-mail them to bloominmarvellous@thenews.co.uk

Include your full name, daytime telephone number and address. Unfortunately we’re not able to return posted prints.
