Giant lion puppet to entertain guests at Christmas festival
VISITORS to a Christmas festival will be able to meet and take pictures with giant puppet Claude the Lion.
Claude will be at the Victorian Festival of Christmas on December 1 and December 3 at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.The soft character will be walking around the snowy cobbled streets at the festival which takes visitors back 100 years.Families will be able to stroke Claude and take pictures as he wanders around on the Friday and Sunday of the three-day event.As previously reported in The News, thousands of people attend the annual festival which has more than 100 stalls, music, Father Christmas and actors playing Victorian characters.Tickets are still available.
