A FAMILY have reached their fundraising target to get two trikes.

Charlie Lloyd had organised a series of events as she needed to raise £3,000 that would buy her two disabled daughters special trikes.

And, thanks to generous friends and family members, Charlie has reached her target and Aimee and Shannon will soon be enjoying their bikes.

Charlie, from Lee-on-the-Solent, said: ‘We reached our £3,000 target earlier this week and amazingly, it has taken us just under eight weeks.

‘The girls’ trikes have been paid for and the order has been completed. It will be about eight weeks for delivery.’

The girls needed special trikes as Aimee, aged six, has ataxic cerebral palsy which restricts her movement.

Shannon, 11, suffers from Williams Syndrome – a type of Down’s Syndrome.
