SPREAD some Christmas cheer to children living in the poorest countries in the world by packing a shoe box full of gifts.

Sarisbury Green United Reformed Church will be collecting gift-filled shoeboxes as part of the annual ‘Operation Christmas Child’ campaign.

The initiative is run by Christian relief and development agency Samaritan’s Purse and it has given gifts to 113m boys and girls since its launch in 1990.
The church will be a drop-off point for shoe boxes every weekday between 10am and 4pm until November 21. For details call the Rev Paul Bedford on 01329 234401.
