TOYS and decorations are wanted for a Christmas appeal to benefit a hospice.
Access Self Storage in Portsea is running the appeal for The Rowans Hospice and organisers hope to break last year’s record of gathering more than 1,000 toys and decorations.
Appeal spokesman Kevin Pratt said: ‘We are in the fourth year of our annual appeal, which runs across the UK.
‘Every year we partner with fantastic charities that work tirelessly to ensure their beneficiaries have a better Christmas.
‘We are calling on local businesses and residents in Portsmouth to please get behind the appeal and support the incredible work carried out by The Rowans Hospice.’
Denise Fry from The Rowans said: ‘A huge thank you to anyone who gets into the spirit of Christmas and makes a donation.’
The appeal will run until December 7 and people can drop off donations at the storage centre in Herbert Street.
