Here are a handful of top events taking place across the region on Thursday and Friday. 

FOR KIDS: Port Solent Holiday Club will be seeing the holidays out with a disco. Kids are welcome to enjoy a disco party with lots of fun and games with Justin. The Boardwalk, Port Solent, tomorrow, 11am. 

HISTORY: Go and see a traditional early 20th century earth clamp built, fired and emptied of charcoal. Normal admission applies. Weald and Downland Museum, Chichester, today, 10.30am. 

EVENT: Try home-brewed nettle beer, grinding wheat flour and watch a beekeeping demonstration. Normal admission applies. Butser Ancient Farm, Waterlooville, today, 10am-4pm. 

STAGE: Watch the tale of Treasure Island come to life in this classic performance. Take a picnic and blankets to enjoy during the evening. Tickets £10-£14. Stansted House, Rowlands Castle, tomorrow, 6.30pm. 

CONCERT: Step back in time and listen to the easy music and iconic sounds of the 1920s and 1950s during this performance by Southsea Skiffle Orchestra. Free. Zodiac Suite, Portsmouth Guildhall, tomorrow, 12pm. 

EXHIBITION: From the dress, shoes and veil, the I Do Exhibition has everything a bride desired and needed on her big day, even from 250 years ago. Gosport Gallery, tomorrow, 10am-4.30pm.
