Darren Galbraith, captain of the golf society, has worked hard to organise multiple fundraising events throughout the year, such as a firework event on November 5 involving a DJ, buffet and raffle.

Darren as elected captain picked the society’s charity of the year.

He said: ‘I have suffered with hearing loss in the past so the charity is one that is close to my heart.’

The final fundraising total will be revealed at the presentation, which will take place at Rowlands Castle Golf Club.
