A FIREWORKS display will return to the Explosion! museum this November.

The Gosport museum will stage the fireworks display for the first time in six years on Sunday, November 4.

The fireworks start at 7pm but the site opens at 5pm with entertainment including sparklers and storytelling.

The museum grounds will be given a Victorian makeover as the museum welcomes a period funfair.

Events manager Kerry Jarvie said: ‘We’re delighted to be hosting a fireworks spectacular again at Priddy’s Hard and what better place to let off some big bangs over Gosport than Explosion!.

‘We hope the residents will come and share the excitement and that we can make this a real community event.’

Tickets include free admission to Explosion!’s museum galleries. They are available now and on the night priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £12 for a family ticket – two adults and up to three children.
