Police catch 10 people texting and driving on Hampshire motorways in just one day

A BOWLING club has raised more than £2,000 for a life-saving rescue charity.

Gosport Bowling Club, in Anglesey Gardens, Alverstoke, Gosport, raised the cash for Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service.

Jack Wilcock, the club president, will hand over the cheque to Gafirs on Sunday, November 24 at 11am.

Gafirs’ patron Dee Caffari will be there, as will the Mayor and Mayoress of Gosport Councillor John Beavis and his wife Christine and Cllr Peter Edgar, the chairman of Solent Sea Rescue Organisation.
