Working with Quay West Studios, Chris has been keen to promote the Gosport music scene including the talent of his students.
The one-day event in July will also promote the arts with exhibitions and performances as well as live music.
Louis Crowe, from Quay West Studios, based in Gosport, said: ‘We have been working with the college for the past four years on projects and now work really closely with the music department.
‘We regularly put on shows which include students from the college.
‘We have them playing at festivals like Springtide Festival in Gosport and the hugely popular Wickham Festival.
‘Chris, from the college’s music department, asked us to get involved running the first Grad Fest.
‘We loved the idea and drew up plans for a music and arts festival.
‘Grad Fest will have some of the best talent in the area and south coast on show including the rising band Damn Beats.’
He added: ‘The whole day is set to be an amazing event for the community.
‘We can’t wait and it’s such an exciting project to boast the local music scene and support the college and music students.’
The family event will be held at the St Vincent College campus, off Mill Lane, on Saturday, July 2.
Chris said: ‘This is truly a day for all the family. There will be a range of stalls, free educational workshops and refreshments including fine-dining cuisine and a bar.
‘As well as the live music, there will be a hair and beauty section and drama and dance performances.’
The event is from midday to 11pm.
