Elizabeth said: '˜It was fantastic '“  I was overwhelmed with the amount of people we had.

'˜I am so grateful to The Seahorse, The Fighting Cocks and Elmore Angling Club for putting on refreshments for us too.

'˜Everyone had a goodie bag kindly donated by Tesco and I had a thank you certificate for everybody who took part.'

A total of seven charities were represented at the walk.

With the success of this year's event, Elizabeth '“ who raises money for The Big Match '“ says it could return again next year.

She said: '˜I have been asked by people to do it again.

'˜If they want me too then I certainly will, and if anyone wants to donate they can always to contact me.'
