A GROUP is calling for people to spare time to clean up their area.

The Holbrook Residents Community Action Group, in Gosport, is taking part in a national event for people to pick up litter in their neighbourhoods.

On March 5 members of the group will be cleaning up the area outside Gosport Leisure Centre, on Forest Way, at 1pm.

As previously reported in The News, the Big Clean Up is happening between March 4 and March 6. It follows the success of the Clean for the Queen campaign held last year.
