Gosport MP backs grant for one-off community events
GROUPS wanting to make a difference in their area can apply for a grant of up to £10,000.
The Big Lottery Fund wants to help communities come together with its Celebrate programme, and is offering grants of between £300 and £10,000 for one off-events or activities.
Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage is supporting the scheme. She said: ‘Feeling part of a community is so important and I know the Gosport constituency already has fantastic community spirit.’
