A MOTHER called 999 after she locked herself out of her house with her one-year-old baby still inside.

Gosport firefighters were sent out to David Newberry Drive, in Lee-on-the-Solent, to reunite the woman with her son at 3.45pm yesterday.

Crews checked to see if any windows were open, before managing to force the door open.

Watch manager Steve Bint said the baby was unharmed.
