Gosport museum calls for memories of the Queen
CALLS are being made for people to give their memories of meeting the Queen for an event at a museum.
Search Museum, in Gosport, is holding the Right Royal Drop In on Thursday where people can look at a collection of royal items. Families can also look at how life has changed since the Queen was born ahead of her 90th birthday in July. A spokeswoman for the museum, off Clarence Road, said: ‘For our Right Royal Drop In event, we would like people to share any memories they have of meeting the Queen. We will be creating a display of these which we hope will grow during the day as visitors contribute.
‘If people do have memories or photos to share they can either email them to add or come along on the day.’
Visitors will be able to drop in between 10.30am and 12.30pm and 2.30pm until 5.30pm. Email memories to [email protected]
