KEEN runners are wanted to take part in this year’s Great South Run to benefit the Hampshire Autistic Society.

Around 26,000 people are expected to take part in this year’s Great South Run, which is held in Portsmouth on October 27.

The Hampshire Autistic Society wants people from the area join in the run to help raise money for their work.

To book one of the society’s places in the event, contact Hannah Godfrey on 01489 880 881 ext 204 or email hannah.godfrey@has.org.uk.

Entry costs £41 per person and each runner is asked to raise at least £200.

The society provides a vest, fundraising support and hosts a meeting point on the day for runners to enjoy a post-run leg massage and food.
