A GRADUATE has been gaining experience delivering educational activities and workshops for visitors to the Mary Rose Museum.

Natalie Bartlett graduated last month with a first class degree in classical studies and is taking part in a seven-month paid internship as graduate museum learning trainee supporting the Portsmouth museum’s learning department.

During her time at the Mary Rose, Natalie will be working to deliver educational sessions for primary school children as well as GCSE, A-level and university students.

She will also learn how to develop learning aids and activities to create fun and inclusive workshops.

Natalie, who graduated from the University of Winchester who are sponsoring the internship, said: ‘I feel incredibly privileged to be working in such a renowned museum where education is highly-valued.

‘I’m really enjoying delivering sessions which have taught me a lot about teaching for different audiences.’
