A THEATRE will be showing films as part of a new festival.

The Groundlings Theatre in Kent Street, Southsea, is taking part in the Making Waves Festival – the first of its kind to be held in Portsmouth.

Along with 1980s film Back to the Future, the theatre evening will also have Velvetine playing.

Lead vocalist Joe Sillence said: ‘Myself and the guys are absolutely honoured that Groundlings have asked us to perform here. Playing classics like Johnny B Good and Power of Love is something the audience and certainly us are guaranteed to enjoy.’

The event takes place on September 29 and starts at 7pm.

Tickets can be bought from Groundlings.
