WANNABE gym bunnies are being asked to donate chocolate Easter eggs in exchange for a free day pass.

PureGym in Portsmouth will then give those eggs to a local charity.

The collection has already started and will end on Tuesday, April 7, and people will be asked to bring their Easter eggs between 8am and 8pm.

Staff at PureGym Portsmouth are hopeful of collecting around 50 Easter eggs for the appeal.

Gym manager Sam Porter said: ‘This is the third year we have decided to organise an Easter egg donation here at the gym and we really hope the local people get behind this great initiative again.

‘It’s very simple; people bring in an Easter egg and we will make sure it gets delivered to the charity.’

The PureGym day pass can be redeemed throughout the whole of April and will provide visitors access to 220 pieces of brand new equipment and an array of varying classes to cover everyone’s fitness requirement.
