HAMPSHIRE firefighters will be taking part in the latest series of a reality TV show.

Real Rescues on BBC1 highlights the work of the emergency services and will run daily from 11am on Monday.

For four weeks Hampshire Fire & Rescue’s animal rescue specialists will be featured on the programme, along with Green Watch at St Mary’s Fire Station in Southampton.

Among the incidents featured in the forthcoming series will be an out-of-control bonfire and the removal of a dog stuck underground in a badger sett.

The new series is presented by Strictly Come Dancing champion Chris Hollins and newsreader Louise Minchin.
