Several roads around Hampshire have faced major hold-ups this morning following a crash on the M27.

The crash, which involved five cars and a motorbike near Portsmouth, means that drivers are facing delays of up to two hours on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway.

As well as setbacks on the westbound carriageway of the M27 and A3(M) southbound, traffic leaving the motorway is causing tailbacks on the A27 between Segensworth and Fareham.

Some of the smaller roads around Hampshire have been affected by the crash, with cars queueing on the B2177 through Wickham, North Boarhunt and towards Waterlooville.

The crash is the is the latest accident to happen following figures which showed an shocking increase in incidents since the expansion of the M27.
