Harley Davidsons to descend on Hayling IslandÂ

A Harley Davidson owners group will be riding on to Hayling Island once again.

Hundreds of visitors will see about 350 bikes tour the island and then attend the bike show which is open to the public.

On Saturday, September 29, the group from the New Forest Harley Davidson Owners Group will be leaving Mill Rythe at 11.45am and arrive back to Eastoke Corner for the bike show at 12.30pm. The Mayor of Havant, Peter Wade, will be arriving at 1pm on the back of a Harley while visitors explore the other attractions such as entertainment, merchandise stalls and trade stands.

Rally manager Helen Watt said: '˜This is our second year holding the event on Hayling Island and we are excited to be returning.

'˜We have chapters attending from across the UK, Scotland and Wales as well a contingent from the Netherlands and Jersey.'

The event is raising money for SERV Wessex service by emergency rider volunteers, The Blood Runners.
