Harry Potter actor to tread boards at Portsmouth's New Theatre Royal

AN ACTOR famous for his role in Harry Potter will be starring in a production in Portsmouth this month.

James Phelps, who played Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter Film Franchise will take to the stage as Sir Not Appearing A Lot in a performance of Spamalot at New Theatre Royal on Wednesday Feburary 21.

Lovingly ripped off from the hugely successful 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Eric Idle’s award-winning comedy, Spamalot, is full of misfit knights, killer rabbits, dancing nuns and ferocious Frenchmen.

Featuring Python fans’ favourite comic tunes including Brave Sir Robin, We’re Knights of the Round Table and longtime favourite, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

Spamalot is showing at New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth from Tuesday February 20 until Saturday February 24.

Tickets at £10 are available for those aged under 25 with limited availability.
