Havant and Fareham are eyed up for BBC Children in Need funding

ORGANISATIONS in Havant and Fareham are being encouraged to apply for funding from BBC Children in Need.

The good cause has already given more than £1.5m in grants across Hampshire, but Havant and Fareham are being targeted as potential beneficiaries.

Pam Bacon, regional officer for BBC Children in Need, said: ‘We’ve already got a strong footprint in Hampshire, but know that there are projects – particularly around Fareham and Havant – that could benefit from our funding.

‘We want to make a difference to as many young lives as possible, so are open to hear from new and former grantees.’

The scheme already supports Home-Start Havant and a charity in Fareham called 4Children.
