A MAN suffered a suspected broken ankle after falling through a garage roof in Havant.

The 20-year-old was working on the roof in Linford Court when the incident happened at 11.40am yesterday morning.

Ambulance crews found the man halfway through the roof and pulled him out of the hole.

Fire crews were called and sent a multi-role vehicle and a crane to bring the man to safety. A fire service spokesman said: ‘He was in a lot of pain but other than that he was calm.’
