A FEAST of delicious vegetarian food was enjoyed at a religious festival.

Around 120 people went to Park Community School in Leigh Park to celebrate the Hindu festival Annkut.

More than 300 colourful vegetarian dishes were made for the event.

The festival took place at the school because there was not enough room at Havant’s Hindu Temple to accommodate everyone.

The Mayor of Havant, Marjorie Smallcorn, attended and said she had a wonderful time.

Praful Thaker, from BAPS Hindu Temple in Havant, said: ‘We had a really good time.’
