Mayor of Havant Faith Ponsonby is holding a gathering on Thursday, July 21, at her parlour at The Plaza.

She has invited representatives from Help in Bereavement and The Bereavement Counselling Charity to the networking event, which starts at 2.30pm.

Mayor’s secretary Anne Thurlow said: ‘Cllr Ponsonby is trying to raise awareness of the support offered by these bereavement charities as she is trying to find ways that new volunteers can be encouraged to come forward.’
