HATS, caps and hoods will be aplenty tomorrow as a team from Havant raise money for brain tumour research.

Staff at Specsavers in West Street are taking part in Wear A Hat Day and will be holding a bake sale.

Bill Vance, store director, said: ‘We raised a record £280 in last year’s event, so this time around we hope to smash that figure.

‘Eye exams can be a vital tool in detecting brain tumours from an early stage, but the rest is up to the hard work of the hospital and Brain Tumour Research. This is our little way of helping.’
