A BEAUTY contest is on the hunt for the next Miss Hampshire.

Women are being invited to apply for the contest, which will crown Miss Hampshire 2014.

The winner will go on to compete for Miss England and then potentially Miss World.

Talented young women aged between 17 and 24 from across the region can apply.

The final is in March 2014, where the girls will compete for the awards of Beauty With a Purpose, Abbeyfield Films Talent Award, Public Choice Award and the David Freeman Photographic Award as well as the new category of Miss Eco – the award for sustainable fashion.

Last year’s Miss Hampshire winner, Hayley Adlam, from the New Forest, has had a hugely successful year. The 23-year-old has graduated from university, bagged a job and been travelling.
