Hayling Island clean-up will mark Facebook milestone
RESIDENTS on Hayling Island have organised a large-scale litter pick for tomorrow.
The clean-up is being held to celebrate 10,000 members on the island’s community page on Facebook.
An estimated 40 litter-pickers will be tasked with filling up two big refuse bags each, which have been supplied by Havant Borough Council.
They will meet at 10am at the community centre in Hayling Park, before depositing their rubbish for collection on Monday.
